Northeast’s memorable little league season was capped off with a trip to Indianapolis to compete in the Great Lakes Regional baseball tournament. The team was 1-2 in pool play and was eliminated from the tournament. The team had to be in bed by 11 p.m. Midland beat Warren County South, of Kentucky, earlier in the day 14-5. "The boys got to room together throughout the trip, and they ate lunch together and ate breakfast together, and they really had a lot of fun away from the field," said manager Ken Babinski of the entire experience.
